Yuriko Katori was born in Ibaraki, Japan. She moved to New York City to study art, and recieved her Master’s degree in Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts in May 2009. In her artwork she attempts to capture the ambiguity of daily life. Her favorite mediums are etchings, pen and ink drawings, watercolors. Her latest work is the picture book, “The 1,000th Pie”.
